____________________________________________________________________

Now that the holidays are over, it's time to take down all your beautiful decorations. Follow these steps to ensure your decorations keep their splendor from year to year.

**Store Christmas Lights on Tension Rods**
A clever way to store Christmas tree lights without getting them tangled is by fitting tension rods inside a clear plastic container. Depending on the size of the container, you should be able to fit two tension rods lengthwise in the container, allowing you to store about six strings of Christmas lights. The trick to storing your lights this way is wrapping the individual strands around your arm, transferring them to the tension rod, then fitting the tension rod to the plastic container.

**Store Christmas Lights on Cardboard**
A fun and easy way to store Christmas lights is to wind them around a sturdy sheet of cardboard covered in leftover Christmas wrapping paper. Wrap a single strand of lights around a sheet of cardboard, cutting slits at both ends to secure the plugs. Stack each light-laden cardboard sheet in a box for easy Christmas light storage.

**Store Christmas Ornaments in Divided Trays**
For Christmas ornaments that are mostly the same size, you can purchase a divided-tray ornament container to keep your ornaments organized. Line each space with large squares of felt to protect delicate ornaments, keeping similar colors together so they're easy to find next year.

**Label Your Christmas Decorations**
Marking items is a great way to help distinguish similar accessories when you pull them out from year to year. Do you have specially cut artificial garlands to fit a stair railing, mantel, and sideboard? Hang a labeled tag from each section for easy identification or store them separately in clearly marked bags.

**Group Decorations Together**
For a display you want to re-create each year, be sure to wrap and store every item in one place. For example, a display with candles, a garland, a glass cloche, ornaments, and holiday boxes should be packed away together, making it a snap to arrange the following year.

**Store Everything in Clear Containers**
Clear plastic storage jars and tubs are indispensable in getting holiday items organized. Separate decorating elements by room, color, or style -- whatever makes sense for you. For example, you might want to designate one for candles, another for holiday ribbons and bows, and another for the mantel garland. Slip a large paper sign inside the tub, positioning it so you can read it easily through the side of the bin.

50% Off All Christmas Decor!

Christmas is ALMOST here! For a live Christmas count down check out: www.xmasclock.com. Are you ready? Here's a last minute check list to help you through the next few days before Christmas! If you need some last minute gifts or Christmas decor stop by and see us!! Here at Woodchuck's Furniture ALL our Christmas decor is now 50% off!!

*Three Days Before
-Shop for fresh ingredients.
Hit the store for the last-minute vegetables or fruit you need for meals.

-Set the table.
So you use those gold-rimmed goblets only once a year? Enjoy them! Go ahead and set the table. Make it even easier on the big day by putting a sticky note on each platter that states what dish you plan to serve on it. (That also allows people to help you without asking 12 times.)

*Two Days Before
-Start cooking.
You’ve probably socked away some things in the freezer already, but now’s the time to prep main courses and make anything that can sit for a couple of days.

-Buy fresh flowers.
Whether they are for a party or a family meal, fresh flowers should always be purchased two days in advance. Blooms have time to open up, and they’ll still be lush and fragrant.

*The Day Before
-Recharge the batteries on your camera or video recorder.
You don’t want to miss the reaction on a little one’s face because the battery ran out during the school pageant the week before.

-Finish last-minute wrapping.
And assemble toys that will be surprises from Santa.

-Finish cooking, and make a timeline for the next day.
Decide when you’ll be feasting, then count backward to determine when to put the turkey (or ham or roast beef) in the oven and what else needs to be cooked.

-Sit back and relax.
Enjoy your family and friends and relish the traditions you share.

**From all of us here at Woodchuck's Furniture...have a very merry Christmas and remember Jesus is the reason for the season!!**

Christmas Traditions to start with your kids....

Christmas is only 8 days away!! But, there is still time to squeeze in some Christmas fun with your kids! Below are a few ideas that we love! We hope you enjoy them too! NORAD Santa Tracker: The story about how NORAD started tracking Santa is adorable.
The fact that you can track Santa’s Christmas Eve journey is awesome! Here is the history of the program and a link to the Santa Tracker. Again, awesome. norad.mil

The Christmas Pickle: Yes, you read it right, it’s the Christmas Pickle. Rather than try and explain this one, we will retype the information directly from the tag that came with our Christmas Pickle. Yes, we are the type of people to save tags with special meaning…
“The Legend of the Christmas Pickle – This is a tradition that starts many years ago. The Christmas Tree was decorated with glass balls and ornaments. Among these decorations, one special pickle ornament was carefully placed within the boughs of the tree. On Christmas morning, the first child who finds the pickle gets an extra Christmas gift.”
Note: we don’t hide the Christmas Pickle until Christmas Eve after the kids go to bed.

The Elf on the Shelf:  We love this! A toy elf that “reports” back to Santa on who has been naughty and who has been nice. It actually sits in your house and “watches” your children. The creepiness factor of having an elf stalking your family is far surpassed by the value of telling your small children that one of Santa’s elves is stalking them AND monitoring their behavior. You may not even need timeouts until after the holidays… Where do you place your Elf... you'll find ours on a bookshelf, in a hutch or on a sofa!  Check it out…elfontheshelf.com  Do you place your Elf on a shelf?

Toys for Tots: They wear uniforms. They collect toys to give to needy children for Christmas. What’s not to love? Still not convinced? Read on…“The mission of the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.” Toys for Tots is a great way to help needy children and to teach your own children about the joy of giving. Learn how you can help! toysfortots.org

Christmas Cookies: It sounds ridiculous. Of course Christmas cookies are a part of
Christmas, but have you ever baked them with your kids? We mean really baked them, not just letting them lick the spoon or stir a bit. This year, let them help you measure out the ingredients. Let them pour, mix, and decorate no matter the mess... Top it off by accessorizing with one of your favorite Woodchuck's Furniture platters.

It’s a memorable experience that is camera-worthy, even though you may wind up depositing a few in the nearest garbage can.

Letters and E-Mails To and From Santa: Portable North Pole will amaze your loved one with a free personalized video. Create your own one at portablenorthpole.com

So there you have it – a quick list of Christmas traditions we love. If you have suggestions for fun things to add, send them our way! We would love to add them to our list!

The Candy Cane Story

A candymaker in Indiana wanted to make a candy that would remind people of the true meaning of Christmas; so he made the candy cane to incorporate several symbols for the birth, ministry, and death of Jesus Christ. He began with a stick of pure white,
hard candy. White to symbolize the Virgin Birth and the sinless nature of Jesus, and hard to symbolize the Solid Rock, the foundation of the Church, and the firmness of the promises of God. The candymaker then shaped his cane into the form of a "J" to represent the precious name of Jesus, who came to the earth as Savior. It could also represent the staff of the "Good Shepherd" with which He reaches down to to reclaim the fallen lambs who, like sheep, have gone astray. Thinking that the candy was somewhat plain, the candymaker stained it with red stripes. He used three small stripes to show the stripes of the scourging Jesus received. The large red stripe was for the blood shed by Christ on the cross so that we could have the promise of eternal life.

Candy Cane Ideas:

Each year there are lots of extra candy canes floating around the house. Use them up with these creative ideas.
1. Use candy canes as stirring sticks for hot beverages.
2. Add crushed candy canes to vanilla frosting and make cookie sandwiches with purchased cookies or graham crackers.
3. Add crushed candy canes to Rice Krispy treats.
4. Melt some purchased white almond bark and add crushed candy cane pieces. Pour onto waxed paper and chill for instant Candy Cane Bark.
5. Sprinkle crushed candy canes on top of iced cupakes or on top of ice cream sundaes.
6. Layer ice cream and hot fudge sauce with crushed candy canes and top with whipped cream for a peppermint twist treat.
7. Dip the candy canes in chocolate coating, following the directions at Coated Candy Canes.
8. Save the candy canes and use them for decorations next year, like a Candy Cane Planter.

How to Make Candy Cane Fudge:

Ingredients
2 (10 ounce) packages vanilla baking chips
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
1 1/2 cups crushed candy canes
1 dash red or green food coloring

Directions
Line an 8 inch square baking pan with aluminum foil, and grease the foil.

Combine the vanilla chips and sweetened condensed milk in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir frequently until almost melted, remove from heat and continue to stir until smooth. When chips are completely melted, stir in the peppermint extract, food coloring, and candy canes.

Spread evenly in the bottom of the prepared pan. Chill for 2 hours, then cut into squares.

Tree Decorating Tips...

We hope that you all had a fantastic Thanksgiving day and enjoyed time with your friends and family! And now, on to the next joyful holiday! Here at Woodchuck's
Furniture, one of our favorite things about Christmas is decorating the Christmas trees!! If you haven't been by the store at Christmas time...you are missing out. Stop by and see all our beautiful trees and get inspired!! Here are a few decorating ideas for you to try in your own home!

Tuck inexpensive reflecting ornaments into the tree to provide depth and add color. Show off your more decorative and sentimental ornaments by placing closer to the tips of the branches where they will can be easily admired.

Glass ball ornaments add a designer touch to any tree and work whether you want a classic or contemporary tree. For a traditional theme, look for solid ornaments in red, white, silver and gold. For a more modern look, choose ornaments with graphic designs in a more updated scheme, like lime green and fuchsia or violet and bronze.

Visit your local craft store for an array of silk flowers, like garden roses, hydrangeas and magnolias. Scatter the flowers throughout the branches and then top the tree with richly textured ribbon and a few well-placed ornaments for a high-end designer look.

Celebrate the winter season with a nature-inspired Christmas tree. Mix in a variety of pinecones, leaves and birds throughout the branches, as well as a few metallic elements to add interest and sparkle.

Whether your home is traditional, contemporary or shabby chic, find a tree and ornaments that fit into your design.

Put your passion on display. Love gardening? Gather mini water cans, birds and flowers to decorate your tree, and then top with a straw gardening hat.

For a traditional Christmas theme, decorate a flocked tree with bright red ornaments. Pull an eclectic mix of ornaments together by selecting them in the same color.

Collect ornaments on vacations, during major life events and when you or your children participate in hobbies and sports. Each Christmas you'll be reminded of your family's adventures and favorite memories.

Don't forget that our Annual Holiday Event is now under way!! With once a year saving of an additional 20% off all Accessories and Home Decor. Game Tables, Wine and Bar furnishings and Grandfather Clocks are on sale too. 12 Month No Interest Financing....and much, much more!! During November each year, Movember sprouts thousands of moustaches on men’s faces and many more feaux staches aimed awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and testicular cancer. These moustaches effectively become walking, talking billboards for the 30 days of November. Through their actions and words they raise awareness by prompting private and public conversation around the often ignored issue of men’s health.

Big steps have been taken towards changing attitudes and habits relating to men’s health around the world, but there is still much to be done to catch up with the women’s health movement. Via the moustache, Movember aims to fulfill its vision of having an everlasting impact on the face of men’s health by continuing to spark conversation and spread awareness of men’s health issues each year.

Movember is very important to all of us here at Woodchuck's...These Mustaches are for you Scott!!

Thanksgiving Table Settings

Thanksgiving is fast approaching! Here at Woodchuck's Fine Furniture one of the things we are most thankful for is YOU! To show our appreciation we have marked our Fall accessories 30% off! So, stop by and pick up your favorite. We are located at: 12575 San Jose Boulevard Jacksonville, Florida 32223-2644

*Corkboard Leaf Trivets:
In less time than it takes to make gravy, you can create a simple, inexpensive accent for your Thanksgiving table.

Trace a leaf design from our online templates onto a square piece of corkboard (available at most office-supply stores) with permanent marker. Place corkboard on a cutting mat, and cut along the outline with a craft knife. Turn over to display.

*Flaming Foliage Candleholders:
Give colorful fallen leaves one last chance to shine -- or glow -- by repurposing them as decorations on glass candleholders. Place the cylinders around the house for a cocktail party, or line them up at the center of a dinner table. Against the candlelight, the leaves look like vibrant flames.

Tools and Materials Spray adhesive Assorted dried leaves Glass candleholders Candles

1. Apply spray adhesive to the backs of the leaves.
2. Wrap leaves around candleholder, letting the stem of each extend slightly past the base.
3. Cut off leaf overhang along bottom of candleholder.

*Harvest Centerpiece:
A table arrangement of grains celebrates the bounty of fall. In addition to wheat, which symbolizes a fruitful life, this textured display includes other dried grasses (available at crafts stores), so it can be made weeks ahead. The final flourish? A luxurious satin bow.

To make each centerpiece, you'll need about a hundred stalks (six bunches) of dried grass and wheat.

1. Bundle 15 or so stems together at a time (they're easiest to handle if you secure bundles with floral tape about 4 inches below grain pods).
2. Hold between thumb and forefinger at an angle. Add bundles, in a spiral as shown, until all are used.
3. Wrap with floral tape (choose a color that matches your ribbon). Trim ends with floral pruner (cut center tips shorter for a stable base). Tie a wide ribbon over tape.

Hungry for Thanksgiving?!?

*1 in 6 Americans live on incomes that are food insecure.

*Over 12 million American children rely on food banks for assistance.

*A report from U.S. Conference of Mayors found that only 11% of those requesting emergency food assistance were homeless.
Source: Feeding America ___________________________________________________________

*Here at Woodchuck's Fine Furniture Of Jacksonville, Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on all the things we are thankful for. Friends, family, food and furniture! As we all get prepared for our Thanksgiving feast lets remember all those who will go hungry this holiday season. If you are looking for ways to help...here are some creative ways to get involved.

*Dining establishments such as McDonald's, Burger King, Subway, Panera, Pizza Hut,
and Dunkin Donuts, among others, all sell gift cards, and some start at as little as $1. The next time you patronize one of these establishments, or if you are just passing one, stop in and purchase some gift cards in the amount that you can afford. Then, the next time you see a homeless person on the street, hand him or her a food gift card. A simple meal is a heartfelt gesture that can brighten the day of someone going through a tough time.

*Why not give your leftovers to those who are hungry? Sometimes it seems like all
the restaurants are in a contest to see who can serve the biggest portions. Everywhere the portion sizes are huge! You can started asking the waiter or waitress to pack half of your dinner to-go (you can even ask them to include a plastic fork) before it ever even comes to the table. You now have a wonderful restaurant meal to give to someone that needs it. If you pass any homeless people on my way home, and it’s easy to just hand it to someone out the window.

*Another way to help is by making a donation online at places like the Jacksonville City Rescue Mission. Serving the homeless and needy since 1946!! Hope begins with a
meal. Give hope for just $1.92! Did you know that $36 can feed and care for 19 people, $96 can feed and care for 50 people and $192 can feed and care for 100 people. Head over to donate.crmjax.org to make your donation today!

Kids' Thanksgiving Table

“Let us be grateful to the people who make us happy; they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom.” ― Marcel Proust _____________________________________________________________

Have you stopped by to see our fall decor?  Our creative design team spends time putting together pieces throughout the store to not only make the store look good, but to inspire you.

Visit us today Woodchuck's Furniture of Jacksonville
and get great ideas to decorate and accessorize for Thanksgiving!

How ready are you for Thanksgiving?

Here are some creative ideas we found for a kid friendly Thanksgiving.  These playful feathered headdress place markers adorned with Thanksgiving-themed crafts make this kids' table colorful and fun.   There is minimal prep work that will ensure your guests stay happily entertained and provides time for the adults to enjoy conversation as they enjoy their peaceful meal nearby.

*Functional Tablecloth

Cover the table in brown craft paper to provide a place for creative minds and idle hands to color doodle or play games. Simply roll out craft paper and securely tape it under the table's edges. Bonus: This durable surface protects your tabletop and makes cleaning up spills and crumbs a snap.

*Wearable Place Cards

Inspired by the story of the first Thanksgiving, these Indian headdresses are customized with each child's name as a creative way to mark their seat. They can be made ahead of time by the hostess or children who are old enough to use a glue gun.

*Kid-Friendly Centerpieces

Centerpieces for a kids' table shouldn't be fussy; they'll need to withstand possible spills and rough-housing so opt for heavy vessles like ironstone pitchers and small mixing bowls. Fill them with mums, pumpkins, acorn squash or gourds and embelish further with raffia, ribbons and feathers.

*Mess-Free Crafts

Craft projects are a great way to entertain and encourage creativity, but the dining table shouldn't be cluttered with paints and glue sticks. Instead, stock the table with an assortment of colorful beads, leather cording and feathers so the kids can create a necklace or bracelet to wear with their headdress.

*Color and Create

Fill jelly jars or juice glasses with crayons so kids can color the brown paper tablecloth as well as fun Thanksgiving paper crafts and printables, like these turkey finger puppets. Children can also be encouraged to write a list of things they are thankful for.

10 Bright Ideas for Decorating With Floor and Table Lamps

"Give light and people will find the way." ~Ella Baker

Here at Woodchuck's Fine Furniture of Jacksonville we are always looking for ways to make decorating easier for you. A great way to start is with a great lamp!! Not only are lamps essential to a well-lit room, but they also make a big impact on a home's overall look and feel. Illuminate your space and amplify your style with these tips for choosing the right floor and table lamps for your home.

1. The Importance of Lighting
Without proper lighting, even the most stylish space isn't truly complete. Every room needs a combination of general lighting, task lighting and accent lighting to set a mood and provide sufficient illumination. Table and floor lamps, which typically fall under the task lighting category, are especially important because they play both a functional and decorative role in your home. Size, shape and style all need to be taken into account when selecting lamps to suit both your lighting needs and taste in home decor.

2. Complement Your Decor
"Think of a lamp as part of the jewelry of a room," interior designer Judith Balis says. "You need to select the right piece to complement the rest of the room." When choosing lamps, consider the style you're going for in your home first. Is it traditional? Modern? Eclectic?

3. Sleek Shades
If you're going for a modern or contemporary look, think simple and streamlined when selecting lamps. Currently in vogue, slim bases and drum-shaped shades can add height and drama to a space without overpowering its other decor.

4. Timeless Appeal
Shades with a tapered shape tend to blend well with traditional decor. For example...you could pair an antique ceramic lamp with colorful Indian textiles and a Chinese wall hanging for a look that's both worldly and classic.

5. Choose Shades With Flair
"If you need to add color or texture to a room, an interesting lampshade will add just the boost you are looking for," Balis says. Look for a shade with a bold pattern, an interesting texture or decorative touches like beads or tassels.

6. Coordinate the Components
When pairing a lamp shade with a base, Balis says a good rule of thumb is to choose a shade that mimics the shape of the lamp itself. If you have a square base, try a square or rectangular shade. A round or drum-shaped shade works well with a round or bulb-shaped base, while a conical shade is a good fit for a tall, thin base.

7. Size It Up
"Like anything else in decorating, you want to be mindful of scale," Balis says. Make sure the size of your lamp is appropriate for its location. You don't want to put a massive lamp on a very small table — not only will it look disproportionate, but it might also be bumped into or knocked over. Likewise, a very small lamp will look out of place in a large room. As for the scale of the lamp itself, the shade should be one-half to three-fourths the size of the base and should hide the internal hardware of the lamp.

8. Translucent vs. Opaque
Another important factor to consider when choosing a lamp shade is how much light you need the lamp to cast. If you want the lamp to illuminate an entire room or provide light for reading, a translucent shade is the best choice. However, if the lamp is strictly an accent piece, try an opaque shade for a dramatic look.

9. Proper Placement
After selecting the right lamps, deciding where to put them is just as important. Floor lamps help to illuminate corners and reading areas. While, table lamps are great for filling out the rest of the room.

10. Up to Task
In any room, make sure the lighting you choose is sufficient for the tasks and activities you want to accomplish there. **Make sure to LIKE us on Facebook at: www.facebook.com/woodchucks

MATTRESS FAQS:
*HOW CAN I TELL IF I NEED A NEW MATTRESS?
If you bought your current mattress over seven years ago, it may be time to start thinking about a new mattress set. Other indications it may be time for a change include:
Your mattress suffers from diminished support capabilities, is not smooth or comfortable to sleep on, or shows too much wear and tear. You wake up feeling tired and remain exhausted throughout the day.

*WHY ARE TODAY’S MATTRESSES SO THICK?
Proper support and comfort are critical components of a mattress — it’s what makes for a great night’s sleep. New technologies and generous amounts of upholstery are specifically designed to support your body while reducing tossing and turning.

*WHY IS MY NEW MATTRESS SET MUCH HIGHER THAN MY OLD ONE?
While this is expected, it can certainly be surprising; however, there are several simple remedies. The first rule is, “Change the height, not the mattress.” Your sales associate can help you reduce the height of your mattress set with the following options.
Reduced height box spring — a matching box spring of equal quality at a lower height. Low profile bed frame — a strong metal bed frame of equal quality at a lower height. Drop-down metal rails — a lower height rail system that accommodates a headboard and footboard.

*MY NEW MATTRESS SEEMS TO BE SAGGING WHERE I SLEEP. WHY?
Slight body signatures are absolutely normal and expected. Fibers and foams contour your body, relieving pressure points and ensuring total comfort, so you can rest assured knowing that your new set of bedding will conform to your body like a new pair of shoes conform to your feet.
Thicker, plusher mattresses show more pronounced body signatures than firmer mattresses. In fact, you should be more concerned if you mattress does not show slight body signatures.
Body signatures should only be a concern if they exceed 1 1/2 inches. This is very rare and your limited warranty protects you from this type of defect. Just be sure that your mattress set rests on a proper bed frame and has adequate center support.

*HOW DO I SET UP MY QUEEN OR KING MATTRESS AND BOX SPRING?
Make sure you place your mattress set in an appropriate bed frame with a rigid center support that includes at least five legs. If your bed frame includes a headboard and footboard, make sure the support consists of five hardwood cross slats or three metal cross slats with a rigid center support on each cross slat.
If you have a King mattress set, you may notice the formation of body signatures. As most individuals do not sleep in the middle of the bed and tend to sleep in the same spot night after night, body signatures may form. Therefore, you may notice a ridge in the middle of the mattress, which is quite normal.

*WHY IS IT TAKING LONGER FOR ME TO GET USED TO MY NEW MATTRESS?
Most people go through an adjustment period with their new mattress. It is likely that your old mattress lost its support capabilities and your body was conforming to a non-supportive posture while sleeping. Your body needs to adjust to the corrective action of the new support system. Depending on the individual, this adjustment period my last a few days or up to a month. Your initial discomfort should subside and you will be sleeping wonderfully in no time at all!

Mix the first ten ingredients together. It is better if you give yourself time to marinate for a few hours or over night. Yet, it is still tasty if serving right away.

Smear the cream cheese on the bottom of a serving dish in an even layer.
Arrange avocado slices over the cream cheese, make an even layer.
Spoon bean mixture on top. Garnish with parsley or sliced green onions or anything green that will make it look pretty. Serve chilled with tortilla chips.

Variations that we found:

Add a touch of sugar (no more than a teaspoon).
or
Add a couple of diced peppers for spice. Omit the oil & add extra lime juice. Or use half the amount of oil.  Omit the avocado and it will keep longer.  You'll miss this flavor.. you could always add later!
or
Add in some chopped red pepper, and used parsley instead of cilantro.

Candy Cane Cookies

Ann provided very scrumptious Candy Cane cookies.  Yum!

1.    1/2 cup shortening
2.    1/2 cup margarine or butter, softened
3.    1 cup powdered sugar
4.    1 egg slightly beaten
5.    1 tsp almond extract
6.    1 tsp vanilla extract
7.    2-1/2  cups all-purpose flour
8.    1 tsp salt
9.    1/2  tsp red food coloring
10.  1/2 cup finely crushed peppermint candy
11.  1/3 cup sugar

Make it:

Cream shortening & butter in a large bowl until fluffy; add next 6 ingredients and mix well.  Divide dough in half; add food coloring to one portion, mixing well.

On lightly floured surface, roll a teaspoon full of each dough (plain and colored) into a 4 1/2 inch long rope.  Place ropes side by side, and carefully twist together; curve one end down to resemble a cane.

Place cookies on ungreased cookie sheet, bake at 375 for 9 minutes or just until edges begin to brown.  Combine candy and sugar, mixing well.  Remove cookies from cookie sheet while warm; immediately coat with candy mixture.

How to Make a Bow with Tammy

Here at Woodchuck's Furniture we are all about decorating for the holidays!! Bows add polish to packages, wreaths, and all kinds of holiday decorating! Add a hand-crafted bow to adorn all your gifts. Here's how to make this perfect florist bow in four easy steps.

Step 1:  Determine the tail length for your bow and twist the ribbon at this point, keeping the right side of the ribbon facing you.

Step 2: Make a loop and give the ribbon a twist. Holding the twist between your thumb and index finger, make a second loop the same size in the opposite direction. Twist the loop toward you.

Step 3: Continue making same-size loops in this way until the bow has the fullness you want. Wrap a narrow width of ribbon around the bow center, tying the tails together in the back of the bow. Do not trim the narrow ribbon tails.

Step 4: Arrange the loops as desired to shape your bow. Use the narrow ribbon tails to attach the bow to your project.
